  • Where is Otter Self Storage?

  • How do I rent a unit?

    Rent a unit online with ease, use your smartphone, desktop or tablet or contact our call center to get started. Have a valid form of identification on hand such as a driver’s license or passport and a major debit or credit card as payment will be required at the time of rental.

  • What are the office hours?

    There are none! Our facilities are fully automated. You can rent a unit, make payments, 24 hours 7 days a week with no waiting! You can access your account online, by signing up when you rent a unit or from the Pay Bill section of our website.

    We will provide a solution to your questions during call center hours from 6:00am-10:00pm Central Standard time or you can always email us at [email protected].

  • When can I access my storage?

    All tenants have the option to access their storage 7 days a week between 6:00am and 10:00pm. If you would rather have 24-hour access, pay the extra service fee. The gate will not allow you access to the site unless it recognizes this service on your account.

  • Do you offer temperature controlled units?

    We do at select facilities. Our temperature controlled units will ensure that your belongings are kept in stable conditions whether the temperatures are high or low. Please check out our facilities page for these unit listings.

  • Are the facilities secure?

    The facilities are under video surveillance and unique individual coded gate access for all tenants to safely enter and exit the facility. Our facility is well lit at night with LED lights on the drive aisles of the storage units.

  • How do I get inside of the facility?

    Each tenant will be given a personal passcode to enter into the keypad. This feature helps us keep track of who comes in and out. You can also download the Storage Genie app to your smartphone and the gate will automatically open for you without even rolling down your window or getting out of your vehicle.

  • Do you offer outside or enclosed vehicle parking?

    Yes! However, check out what facilities we offer this at as it is limited to each specific location. We have outside parking and enclosed units that are the perfect fit for your smaller RVs, cars, boats, trailers, and other types of vehicles. Please be sure to know the height x length and width of your vehicle as these units and outside spaces have restrictions. Please check the facility pages for more details or call us with questions!

  • Am I able to pay my storage bill online?

    Pay your storage bill online right here on our website. All you need is access to a debit or credit card. If you sign up for Autopay at your payment screen you will receive an additional 20% off the next months' rent! Please allow 48 hours for this to be applied to your account.
