I have been using this facility for almost two years. When I first started going there it was pretty bad looking. Problems with gates and damaged buildings and units all around not to mention the trash piled behind buildings. It was just not maintained very well at all. I was just in there this week and met Francisco the maintenance guy for the facility. And I told him he has done an amazing job cleaning the place up and making it presentable to the customers. Also gates function properly now and everything just seems a lot more secure than it used to.

So far so good- very easy to go on line and rent unit then move in within minutes- very convenient- appreciate all the cameras and overall a good experience- very happy with otter!!!

The facility was super easy to work with. Communication was on point and the online process was a piece of cake.

One of the chilliest laid back storages around Oscar the maintenance manager makes me comfortable leaving my belongings here knowing he on top of things. Units are spacious and walls are tall. Only down side is the very top of walls make it easy for people to squeeze into you unit if their happened to be a break in.

Have had issues with the facility for 2 years. Gate wouldn't work, no one to contact that was local. Last night Francisco changed that for me. He has really cleaned up the entire lot, he is knowledgeable and helpful. He was able to fix an issue the West gate has had for the last year and a half. Francisco is an asset to the entire U-Haul Otter storage lot. Thank you for your kindness and offer to help during our trying situation with our car breakdown.

This review is Francisco he does an outstanding job in keeping the units in pristine shape! Keep up the amazing work!

Fransisco has brought new life to the place. It is cleaner and there are fewer issues with people just hanging out around the facility. The place is really taking a turn for the better!! I would highly recommend storing your goods here!

Place is looking so much better. Clean, safe, and secure. Definitely recommend.

This facility provides a clean and well kept place to store your goods. This facility has had some great changes over the last couple months and I would recommend the site to anyone.

The prices are good. The space between buildings is tight.

I like the open space, make it easy to load and download. Only thing I wish to be able to go after hours to get items from my unit

Not the prettiest but not important to me. Lady was very personable and helpful. That was my old review before new management took over, ever since it's been otter self storage it has nobody there daily. Back in December 2021, I was late with my payment and within a week they had another lock on my unit. I did pay December, and on time in January, February and the lock was still on my unit. They didn't charge me for March because I asked them not to since I still couldn't get into my unit. Just found it odd how quickly one was placed on my unit but months go by without anyone taking it off. So about a week or so ago, I got it off myself. And I also got a new unit elsewhere. June would have made it 2 years I've had this storage unit but I couldn't see myself paying a rent increase, with nothing being done in a timely manner on their part.

This place is affordable and great customer service. Since the new owners have taken over we have enjoyed the communication. They have done a lot of improvements as well. Sometimes getting in and out especially with a camper can be a bit tricky especially if someone is putting or removing things from their storage unit as you first drive in but this rarely happens. I do think they need more cameras in the back where the campers are kept. (This could be one of their improvements that I’m not aware of) I would love for them to invest in covered storage.

The facility is so easy to get to, it’s right behind Tom Scott Honda off of 11th Avenue. The site manager was real easy to get a hold of and made the paperwork simple and fast. She is very friendly and personable. I got an outside spot for my little trailer and the gate was simple to open. In all the years driving by Nampa Lock Storage I never thought I would need them. Glad I got to use them. A classy place worth a good review. Todd

This location is under new management and I’m really happy about it! They are extremely friendly and make the move process really easy! They responded very quickly to my emails and messages and provided me with all the information I needed to set myself up in renting one of these units! It is very clean and I feel confident placing my belongings in the storage unit! In my opinion, the pricing is unbeatable and the facility is conveniently located so it’s easy to access. Would definitely recommend this facility!!
